Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
This is a 15-month contract position to cover maternity leave.
About the Role:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for direct engagement with our Sales & Category Marketing partners across the consumer segments as well as our internal teams within Devices Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel & Customer Operational Support (50%):
* Manage customer relationships and oversee supply chain performance, including forecasting, demand fulfilment, and logistics services.
* Collaborate with Sales teams to align demand and supply, ensuring financial and operational targets are met.
* Provide supply visibility and coordinate demand availability across territories and accounts.
* Oversee demand fulfilment operations, including order book management and timely delivery of goods.
* Optimise channel inventory to maximise revenue opportunities and mitigate risks such as excess or stranded inventory.
* Improve sales planning accuracy by ensuring up-to-date availability information and managing demand risks with sales and supply teams.
* Monitor key business metrics to drive continuous improvement and adherence to processes.
2. Demand Planning (20%):
* Lead demand planning for hardware products across multiple product, customer, and geographic levels.
* Drive collaborative forecasting and supply optimisation efforts to ensure demand availability.
* Balance inventory across geographies and partners to support sales goals.
* Utilise demand/supply reconciliation and sell-down plans to achieve financial targets.
3. Execution & Performance Management (20%):
* Track and analyse regional performance metrics (Sell-In/Sell-Thru, channel inventory, ending inventory gaps).
* Investigate root causes of supply chain issues and lead cross-team initiatives for improvement.
* Optimise processes related to aged inventory, rework analysis, and order fulfilment.
* Support key demand and supply metrics, ensuring necessary actions are taken.
4. Programme Support & Event Coordination (10%):
* Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement best practices across regions.
* Plan and execute programmes, including team-building activities and cultural initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Operations, Operations, or Product Management.
* 4-6 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or sales operations.
* Strong background in demand/supply planning, channel management, or order-to-cash process improvements.
* Proven ability to identify and implement process optimisations and risk mitigation strategies.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience collaborating across functions to drive business outcomes.
* Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to synthesise data into actionable insights.
