Quality Engineer
CREGG Recruitment are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join a dynamic team in Athenry, Co. Galway. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, with the chance to advance your career in a supportive and growth-focused company.
Key Responsibilities (but aren’t limited to):
* Implement lean practices in QMS area.
* Drive system improvement initiatives throughout facility, reducing waste and increasing efficiency throughout.
* Participate and lead ongoing problem solving and corrective action teams, leading CAPA and Non conforming product investigations.
* Lead validation activity both in process and software area.
* Perform internal audits.
* Ensure current and future Quality Products are compliant to current and proposed QMS & regulatory requirements.
* Support Supplier Management initiatives and drive improvement in this area.
* Development of the quality system in line with current industry best practices.
* Support Third Party Regulatory and Certification Body audits.
* To provide Quality support on new Product transfers.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
* A qualification in science or engineering with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quality Engineer role.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14971:2019, and ISO 14001:2015 standards and regulations.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
