Job Description
The Dispatch Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of customer service by effectively supervising the dispatch team.
* Liaise with various teams, including Engineering, Stores, Production, Finance, Sales, and HR.
* Work with external hauliers to manage delays and resolve issues.
* Ensure compliance with working time regulations and Despatch Plan/schedule.
* Resolve staff issues related to absenteeism and performance.
* Provide supervision and direction to support achievement of targets and deadlines.
* Confident communication and leadership qualities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines.
* Calm under pressure with adaptability to challenges.
