As a Team Lead within the Reconciliations, Client Service, and Delivery (CS&D) group, you will be responsible for overseeing a team that ensures the integrity and accuracy of client records by reconciling client transactions to third-party data. Your role will focus on managing the resolution of issues identified in third-party reconciliations, maintaining the portfolio (including cash flows and security updates), and ensuring that all residual risks are identified and signed off before the production of financial statements.
You will need a deep understanding of the risks, cash flows, and best practice protocols required to service your clients effectively while ensuring that your team consistently meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The ability to develop your team’s professional skillset will be critical to improving overall service quality. As the leader, you will be responsible for allocating resources efficiently to ensure client deliverables are met, minimizing overtime, and driving improvements in team performance.
You will be the subject matter expert on reconciliation processes and systems, and will work closely with staff to manage, communicate, and escalate risks associated with positions and activities. Additionally, you will monitor deliverables to ensure SLAs are consistently met and work with stakeholders to negotiate and implement changes where necessary. As part of the role, you will also assist with new business projects and act as a primary point of contact for clients and internal teams during these processes.
A key aspect of your role will be coaching and developing staff, helping them succeed in their current roles while nurturing their potential for management positions within the team.
