Job Description: Credit Control Manager
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead a small team of Credit Controllers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of credit controllers, overseeing their portfolio of debtor accounts and ensuring adherence to company processes, credit and payment terms, credit checks.
* Produce and analyze the debt analysis report, identifying risks, variances, and further action plans.
* Conduct cashflow forecasting on a monthly basis.
* Maintain reporting and recording of credit applications, payments, and bad debt, providing relevant reports and analysis of data.
* Process bad debt collection, including small claims, insurance, letters, etc.
* Collaborate with the Sales Director to manage problematic accounts.
* Resolve billing disputes, complaints, and discrepancies, responding to escalated complaints within specified timeframes.
* Support daily activities of the credit control function as required.
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of the credit control function within a business.
* Previous managerial experience in a high-volume billing environment.
* Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
* Competency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word).
About the Role:
This is a full-time position based at our Head Office in Greysteel, working Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.30pm with one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Salary:
£30,000 - £32,500 per annum
