Main Responsibilities:
1. Support and advise on obligations under GDPR and other relevant European data protection laws (e.g. ePrivacy), including latest EU laws such as DSA, Data Act, and AI Act.
2. Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments and reviews of services and upgrades.
3. Identify and assess privacy risks as well as develop and monitor mitigation plans.
4. Develop, implement and maintain privacy steering documents, processes, guidelines and tools.
5. Support handling requests from data subjects.
6. Support managing privacy assets, including data processing agreements and privacy assessments.
7. Maintain records of processing and data inventories.
8. Participate in privacy-related projects, initiatives and assignments.
9. Follow developments related to the threat landscape, market practices, regulation and legal practices, authority views as well as incidents/breaches related to privacy.
Requirements:
1. Working experience related to data protection/privacy within the EU/EEA (1 - 3 years).
2. Master’s or bachelor’s degree in law (or related discipline supported by legal studies/working experience) or computer science.
3. Knowledge of GDPR requirements and practical implementation.
4. Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
5. Independent, result-oriented and business-minded way of working as well as capability to work in a multicultural working environment.
6. Ability to multi-task, set work priorities based on risks, and manage conflicting deadlines.
7. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to produce well-written and easy to understand documents and presentations.
8. Strong interest to learn and develop in the field of data protection/privacy.
9. CIPP/E or other certification by International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as well as previous experience related to consumer internet or mobile service/app industry are considered beneficial.
A valid full-time right to work in Ireland is required for this position.
