We are seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist who will join us in delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy Services to people accessing Stewarts Care. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support the implementation of Our Shared Ambition within a positive and fulfilling work environment.
Role Purpose:
The Occupational Therapy Manager will lead a dedicated team of occupational therapists who are committed to delivering high-quality services. You will provide strategic and clinical leadership across a range of OT specialisms, manage, plan and deliver Occupational Therapy Services within Stewarts Care ensuring a high-quality person-centred service in line with best practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
* Clinical expertise as an Occupational Therapist, with a minimum of five years full-time post-qualification experience;
* Maintaining annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by CORU;
* Evidence of participation in continued professional development;
* A full clean driving license and access to a car;
* Demonstrated competence and capability of undertaking the duties attached to the office;
* Previous health service management experience is desirable;
* Experience working within the disability sector is an advantage;
* A working knowledge of HIQA Standards as they apply to the role;
* Excellent communication skills;
* Experience of service evaluation and planning;
* Evidence of the ability to achieve results through effective collaboration in a complex environment.
Requirements:
* Be registered as an Occupational Therapist by CORU;
* Holds a full clean driving license and access to a car;
