Purpose of the role:
The role of the Irish Cancer Society Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RANP) for Sexual Health, Menopause & Fertility in Young Onset Adult Cancer is critical in the Irish Cancer Society Young Onset Cancer Care Programme at the Trinity St James's Cancer Institute (TSJCI) with particular focus on clinical structures and pathways of care for patients with Gastrointestinal (colorectal, oesophageal, gastric) and Head & Neck cancers.
The Irish Cancer Society (ICS) Young Onset Cancer Care Programme is a pioneering five-year programme, focused on patients under 50 years of age, with gastrointestinal and head & neck cancers as the index population with a vision to extend to other cancer types and span all patient cohorts.
