Role/ Department:
The Financial Control team within Hedge Fund Services (HFS) is responsible for the fund administration of HFS EMEA clients. The primary delivery is the NAV which is typically monthly. The team also provide support for financial and regulatory reporting as well as some ad hoc reporting to strategic clients.
This role manages the Financial Control team which is made up of 9 partners across various levels.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
· Management of FC team to ensure delivery of NAV packs at month end.
· Work with the middle office teams to ensure the reporting of investment positions are complete and accurate
· Provide support to partners in resolving issues and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
· Attend client service reviews, due diligence meetings and sales calls to represent the FC team and address any issues
· Work directly with external auditors to address any queries related to the financial statements and the NAV of the fund.
· Oversight of our Offshore support teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness continues to improve
· Liaise with peers in Chicago to ensure developments in systems and processes are carried over to EMEA where applicable
· Work with peers in the wider management team to drive forward our strategic initiatives, taking ownership for FC related items
