Transport Administrator - Permanent CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a Transport Administrator to join one of Ireland's leading retail, food and alcohol wholesale providers.
This role is based in Mallow, Cork and would require the candidate to be based onsite, fulltime.
As the transport Administrator you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Transport Supervisor by ensuring the availability and accuracy of our data through expert management of our data warehousing system.
Responsibilities: Support the transport team to provide a cost effective, fit for purpose, supply chain model that allows us to get it right first time, every time.
Complete administration tasks.
Comply with all health and safety and all applicable legislative compliance.
Key contact for customers and suppliers updating on changes/deviations to normal service.
Respond to customer/supplier queries and ensure all are closed out.
Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders, managers, drivers, customers and other relevant departments.
Liaise & build relationships with customers, suppliers, sales contacts & drivers.
To assist in any ad-hoc duties where necessary.
Requirements Excellent attention to detail.
Past experience in a customer service environment.
Strong Communication skills.
Honesty, integrity and openness.
Strong problem-solving focus.
Be proficient in MS Office.
