Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations in the kitchen ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.
2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, manage stockists ordering processes, creating word/excel documents, and ensure timely deliveries of products and supplies to our stockists/online store.
3. Must be computer literate, fluent in English both written and verbal. We communicate with our customers/stockists in person or via email/phone.
4. Nurturing and developing your SOS teams processes and ways of working at all times.
5. Creating and managing rosters for the kitchen via Bizimply.
6. Communicating with our suppliers regarding new items, pricing and issues.
7. Collaborating with and working with the team to ensure utmost best in class procedures and practices are adhered to at all times.
8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to nurture and improve team skills and productivity.
9. Updating the team about new menu ideas, special items, procedures etc.
10. Developing a sense of regular feedback from the team and customers on new products, as well as feedback on existing products.
11. Provide regular monthly reports in one-on-one meetings with the owner regarding kitchen performance, inventory, staff development, and any issues that may arise.
12. Facilitate clear communication between Kitchen and other store teams/management to ensure alignment on company goals.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a kitchen manager in hospitality or food service industry is a must.
* Experience in a kitchen/bakery is a must.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Fluent in English, written and verbal.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing kitchen challenges.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Positive attitude and team spirit.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant experience in the food service or Manager role.
