Job Description Our Client is a leading Charity operating across Ireland supporting some of the most marginalized individuals, couples, and families experiencing Homelessness.
Currently Hiring an experienced Support Worker for their Dublin Operation.
Full time 35 hours per week – we are open to flexible working arrangements Permanent Contract.
Responsibilities To collaborate with every service user to earn their respect and trust while handling challenging or troubling circumstances with tact.
To work in a multidisciplinary team with a focus on holistic methods Supervision of clients, giving special consideration to clients in need of intensive care and providing assistance as needed.
Adhering to the damage minimization concept while providing residents with a high standard of dignity, care, and support.
Requirements Have at least one year of experience working in the homelessness field or another suitably comparable area, preferably in a residential setting, or a Level 5 or higher certificate in the social care profession.
Maintain a high standard of education.
Experience in service user activity planning is preferred for this position.
Experience working alone or off-site is a benefit.
An knowledge of long-term mental health difficulties and their impact on the individual.
Good working understanding of risk assessment methods and systems (e.g., S/U risk assessment, Lone Work, Activity Risk Assessments) Capable of working as part of a team and understanding the significance of team communication.
