Job Objectives
The Role of a Social Care Worker and Assistant Support Worker is to provide care to people who avail of our service.
As a member of our team, you will be supported in developing and upskilling in providing high-quality care, maintaining professional working relationships with our team members and people who avail of our service.
Our goal is to support people in reaching their full potential, having a meaningful life through the supports of the services we provide to them.
This will include:
* Supporting people with their daily plan
* Supporting people whilst in the community
* Supporting people with their education, skills development, and achieving personal outcomes
* Supporting people with their living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, family visits, etc.
You will also be required to be familiar with and adhere to all company policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice in so far as is reasonable and practicable.
Shift Work and Skills Requirements
Shift work will be over 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
The requirements for this role include:
* Assistant Support Worker: No qualification required (all necessary training provided)
* Social Care Workers: Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline. Relevant life experience would be desirable but not essential.
Additionally, proficiency in Lithuanian (native or fluent) is required for this role, and a Full Driver's Licence is essential or in the process of achieving a Full Driver's Licence.
