We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to support our client based in Ireland.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing Management Accounts and Financial Reports, including refreshing monthly reports and updating weekly KPI metrics.
* Process journals, perform balance sheet activities, and resolve queries to ensure accurate, timely submissions.
* Maintain and update critical Excel-based business files daily and monthly, enabling data-driven decision-making for end users.
* Generate weekly KPI reports for the Senior Leadership Team, delivering insights on business performance.
* Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all inter company charges are invoiced to the appropriate legal entities.
* Prepare and manage bank reconciliations and assist in supplier reconciliations with follow-ups as needed.
* Collaborate on ad hoc projects within the finance team, contributing expertise to optimise operations.
Requirements
* Part-qualified accountant with 2–5 years of relevant office experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools (including PowerPoint).
* High attention to detail, a proactive and flexible approach to work, and a “can-do” attitude.
* A team player who collaborates effectively and embraces change.
* High English proficiency and eligibility to work in Ireland.
