Job Summary:
A Site Manager is required to oversee the construction site, ensuring the health and safety of personnel and maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing subcontractors, planning and scheduling programs, and delivering projects on time and to a high specification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the construction site, including management of subcontractors and ensuring the health and safety of personnel.
* Accountable for overall management and daily on-site operations.
* Plan and manage short-term construction and scheduling programs to maximize efficiency.
* Manage Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
* Supervise subcontractors, lead on-site teams, and address any issues as they arise.
Requirements:
* Taking initiative and demonstrating accountability and responsibility throughout the lifecycle of a project.
* Deadline-oriented and motivating teams to achieve key targets.
* Strong communication skills and sound commercial awareness.
* Able to drive and hold relevant site certifications.
Desired Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering and Management or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in residential projects.
* Proficiency in numeracy and IT skills, including MS Project, Word, and Excel.
About the Role:
This Site Manager role offers a competitive salary range of €75,000 - €85,000 DOE, a bonus scheme, car allowance, and additional benefits. Eligibility to work in Ireland is also required.
