ServicesSeniority Level:Mid-Senior levelJob Description: Tax Senior The tax senior position will be responsible for a wide range of income and transaction tax areas, along with basic international income and transaction tax reporting and oversight.The role reports to the Senior Tax Manager (based in Cork) and has primary responsibility for the direct tax compliance and provisioning of the entities in the International Region. The tax work includes review of entity tax provisions and annual returns, support regarding indirect taxes, review and preparation of transfer pricing reports and ad hoc income tax advice to the non-US entities. The tax senior will coordinate and support others in Cloudera’s finance organization. The position will be filled at Cork location.Key responsibilities will relate to the management of the Corporate Tax Compliance process for international subsidiaries based in EMEA, LATAM & APAC.As a Tax Senior you will:Coordination/liaison/review of non-USA entities’ quarterly and annual tax provisions by connecting with non-US entity tax and accounting teams (internal & external).Work closely with the GL international team to assist with the review and approval of the relevant tax notes included in the Financial Statements of the group’s international subsidiaries.Review of external income tax compliance (returns and payments), flowing into NetSuite.Coordinating Country by Country Reporting (CbCR) and transfer pricing reporting/documentation globally.Monitoring the intercompany accounting and effective rate by offshore entity.Liaise with Cloudera customers, AR, sales, finance teams regarding WHTs.Manage non-US direct and indirect tax audits.Support and manage the non-US entities with respect to upcoming changes for VAT/GST in the EU.Assist the finance team in planning and ensuring compliance with new and upcoming international tax legislation such as Pillar II and Public CbCR.Assist in ad.hoc projects.
