IES Modeller Lawler Group is a well-established business operating within the traditional engineering and sustainability and energy management sectors. Currently experiencing growth in new business opportunities, we now require an IES Modeller to enhance the sustainability team who can provide technical support in building certifications.This individual will join the Sustainability team and work on several large commercial building projects to reduce energy consumption and improve the sustainability of these developments.The role represents an opportunity to shape and drive the continued growth of the business and offers significant upward career progression. Candidate ProfileThe role will suit a candidate who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business.Work experience within a fast-paced service, construction or engineering, sustainability environment would be a distinct advantage.An attractive remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate. Key Requirements:Ideally 2+ years' experience as a sustainability/energy consultant or related positionDegree in a construction/environmental/engineering or related field desirable with proven performance in sustainabilityProficiency with IES:VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysisIES experience, and Irish Building Regulations Part L knowledge Skills and Attributes:Relevant experience in a similar modeller or consultancy role within the built environment industryEducational background within an engineering fieldExcellent communication and presentation skillsKey Responsibilities/Role Requirements: Liaising with client stakeholders to develop the criteria for the delivery of the desired environmental assessment rating Coordinate and collaborate with building owners, design, construction, and operational teams.
