A Project Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mayo based pharmaceutical client. This is a 12-month contracting position. IF you have experience in Facilities, Utilities, Construction or Pharmaceutical Processing then this is the position for you!
THE ROLE
* Work in a safe manner and in compliance with all Baxter Health, Safety & Environment mandatory policies, standards, and procedures.
* Support and adhere to personnel and manufacturing policies and procedures.
* Adhere to the Change Control Management System for all changes to the existing process or the implementation of new systems.
* Ability to drive change by assessing opportunities, present proposals, gain support from key stakeholders, assemble relevant team members, obtain finance, and manage budgets.
* Ability to write Design Specifications and complete IQ/OQ/PQ activities as part of project execution.
* Ability to perform risk management, translate the results into action and execute the implementation plans.
* Plan and prioritise workload to ensure that agreed deadlines are achieved.
* Occasionally perform other engineering duties to support the operation, as the management may require.
* Take ownership of projects, participating in the audits of the various regulatory agencies presenting to visitors as Subject Matter Expert.
* Work proactively and professionally with internal and external cross functional team members and third-party service providers.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Primary degree level education in Engineering (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
* Minimum 3 -5 years manufacturing experience.
* Project Management training.
* Experience in Construction/Facility systems/Utility systems/Pharmaceutical Processing.
* Experience in commissioning.
* Experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical device.
