This role involves a wide range of tasks, from routine building and equipment maintenance to emergency repairs. Day to Day of the Role:Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building integrity and carry out minor repairs as required. Respond to urgent maintenance issues, such as leaks, damaged infrastructure, etc. in a timely and effective manner.Perform minor construction tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and patching.Perform daily/weekly checks on building systems, HVAC, water treatment, vacuum, compressed air, cooling towers and fire protection systems.Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized support services. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, in a regulated Medical Device facility.Adherence to safety protocols and procedures. Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out in compliance to relevant regulations, SOP's and GxP requirements.Participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.Participate in Task Based Risk Assessments on building maintenance tasks.Work with the site EHS personnel to implement and maintain good safe working practices, by complying with site safety procedures and policies.Work in compliance with the site Safe Systems of Work including permitting, LOTO, isolations and safety documentation review.Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.Skills required for the role:5+ years relevant work experience, Trade qualification in a similar role/regulated environment. General building repair, pluming and carpentry skill-set.Knowledge of engineering principles of plant equipment.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Strong planning and organizational ability.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows and MS Office suite of products. Familiarity with Trend or any other Building Management System is an advantage.
