We are seeking an Accountant to support our clients in Killarney, County Kerry. As a key member of the finance team, you will assist the Financial Controller in managing financial planning and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records for Accounts Payable ledger
* Implement and maintain a three-way matching system
* Present invoices for approval
* Prepare listings for supplier payments
* Reconcile creditor ledgers with supplier statements
* Raise debtor invoices
* Record receipts and payments
* Assist with client outstanding invoices and credit control
* Perform current account bank reconciliations
* Daily cashing up and reconciliations
* Process weekly payroll
* Support production of monthly Management Accounts
* Manage product costings
* Conduct intercompany reconciliations
* Prepare statutory returns, Excise, VAT & PAYE
* Assist in preparation of Group Cashflows, Audits & annual Budgets
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
* Knowledge of accounting/payroll systems
* Experience with online procurement systems
* Proficiency in Excel
* Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role
