The Role
As a Quality Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of high-complexity medical instrumentation in a regulated manufacturing environment. Your expertise will support instrument production, troubleshooting, and quality control, contributing to products that make a difference globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect electro-mechanical parts and diagnostic instruments in a low-volume, high-complexity setting.
* SUPPORT DAILY PRODUCTION TARGETS by addressing quality control issues efficiently.
* Maintain accurate quality records, including test data and system assessments, to ensure compliance.
* Investigate and resolve in-process and warranty part failures using technical and practical expertise.
* Analyse quality trends and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards.
Requirements
* Education: Minimum QQI Level 6 qualification (Diploma or higher) in Engineering or Science (e.g., Biochemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic disciplines) or a relevant trade qualification with experience in automation or system manufacturing.
* Experience: At least 2 years in a similar manufacturing quality control role, with expertise in complex instrumentation inspection.
* Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, data analysis for quality trends, and effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to shift work as required.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in quality control within a regulated environment.
* Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and chemical systems.
