I am currently recruiting for a Technical Service Advisor to join a dynamic organisation. As a key player in the Operations Team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless mobility of the company's fleet. Collaborating closely with drivers and clients, the Technical Service Advisor will diagnose and address vehicle-related issues promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities will include managing driver inquiries, coordinating service bookings, handling breakdowns, and providing valuable advice on vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate effectively within a team to efficiently process tasks.
2. Serve as a liaison between customers and service providers, effectively communicating and translating customer requests.
3. Maintain up-to-date records on internal systems.
4. Minimise vehicle downtime by swiftly addressing issues as they arise.
5. Provide accurate updates and guidance to drivers as necessary.
6. Address quality issues in accordance with directives from the Line Manager.
7. Ensure all communications adhere to company policies and guidelines.
8. Undertake additional duties as required by the Line Manager.
9. Contribute to team objectives and achieve individual targets set by the Line Manager.
Requirements:
10. Prior experience in a motor dealer, vehicle manufacturer environment, or similar role (e.g., Advisor, Technician, After Sales Manager) is required.
11. Mechanical qualification is advantageous.
12. Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
13. Experience in a corporate office environment and customer-facing roles is preferred.
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel).
15. Sound decision-making abilities with a solid technical background.
16. Driven by customer satisfaction, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
17. Ability to effectively communicate via telephone with suppliers and customers.
18. Demonstrated track record of achieving goals and delivering results.
19. Exhibits professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
20. A team player committed to shared objectives and enthusiastic about contributing to team success.
