A leading Insurance Intermediary is recruiting for a Compliance Officer for their Dublin office. Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, the Compliance Officer will have the opportunity to influence the development and implementation of the Risk and Compliance Framework.
Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Officer:
1. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Compliance Framework and Compliance Plan.
2. Conduct compliance monitoring reviews.
3. Provide advice on the appropriateness and effectiveness of controls and the application of rules, regulations, and the company’s compliance policies and procedures.
4. Review products, documents, and marketing communications for compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
5. Participate in new business initiatives, ensuring that relevant compliance considerations and resulting risks are duly assessed.
6. Assist with the implementation, review, and amendment of compliance policies/procedures.
7. Support the implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework.
8. Support senior management in identifying, monitoring, managing, and reporting risks.
9. Provide day-to-day advice, support, and challenge to all functions on risk and compliance matters.
10. Produce reports for the Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee as required.
The Compliance Officer will have a proven track record in a Compliance function of a regulated Financial Services firm, preferably Insurance. Compliance qualifications are desirable along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
