This Business Development Manager role is responsible for driving sales of EV and renewable energy products within the region, enhancing brand recognition, and activating demand generation campaigns linked to sales impact.
The role works closely with the EV Product Manager, Technical Support Team, Managing Director, and the wider Group Marketing Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and grow existing EV accounts with wholesalers and installers, ensuring current accounts achieve minimum order quantities and revenue targets while developing new customer accounts and sales channels.
* Finding new business from traditional and new sales channels, promoting EV chargers, EV charging equipment, and other renewable energy products.
* Creatingsales leads through planning and attending trade shows and local promotional events.
* Conducting sales training to plan and present features and benefits of our product range to installers and customers.
* Selling EV chargers and EV equipment remotely, covering a specific region by visiting wholesalers, contractors, and other businesses offering EV products.
Performance Targets:
* Achieving monthly sales volume targets.
* Achieving monthly revenue volume targets.
* Creating monthly reports on regional performance to report directly to the Head of Sales.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in remote BDM roles is essential.
* Previous sales experience is essential.
* Knowledge of EV marketing and distribution sectors is preferred.
* Battery storage knowledge would be advantageous.
Requirements include working independently, being proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and having skills in solar power, renewables, electric vehicles, sales, new business development, work-from-home options, and pension plans.
