About the Role:
As a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety and compliance across Flogas.
Foster a Culture of Safety and Compliance
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the companys Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting continuous improvement in safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and enhance the Company Safety Management System, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
* Oversee the incident reporting and investigation process, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Assist in developing and delivering health and safety training programs, including inductions for staff and contractors.
* Prepare and submit regulatory reports to the HSA/CRU and provide monthly/annual HSE reports for shareholders.
* Conduct regular health and safety audits, identifying risks and ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.
* Manage risk assessment programs and maintain records of safety-critical equipment maintenance and testing.
* Liaise with local regulatory bodies, providing updates and ensuring alignment with compliance requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH/IOSH Health and Safety qualification (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar HSE role.
The role requires a full driving license for travel between sites.
