Catering Manager Job Description
At our client's site in Cork, we are currently seeking a seasoned Catering Manager to lead our team and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen, onsite restaurants, hospitality events, and vending services, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences that exceed expectations.
To achieve this goal, the Catering Manager will need to prepare accurate financial information to track each service and optimize profitability.
* Maintain effective communication throughout the service.
* Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Foster a team approach that recognizes individual contributions and promotes high staff morale.
* Monitor and record team training and progress.
* Plan, organize, and control all aspects of services and activities within client and company guidelines.
* Manage staffing rotas to meet trading patterns, business growth, and budgetary requirements.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Ensure equipment, fixtures, and fittings are properly maintained and safe for use.
* Implement strict cash controls, ensuring all staff adhere to the Cash Handling Policy.

* A positive attitude and keen eye for detail.
* Experience in business management or a related field.
* Demonstrated high-quality customer service skills.
* At least one year of experience at Catering Supervisor level or above.
