Job Title: Maintenance Fitter
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to provide technical support and problem-solving expertise within the busy Maintenance/Engineering environment of a leading food producer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support maintenance strategies to achieve performance goals.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to meet schedules.
* Inspect machines for compliance with standards.
* Complete work orders, upload job details via handheld devices, and ensure paperwork is accurate.
* Develop strong working knowledge of site mechanical equipment.
* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Time-served MAMF (Mechanical, Automation & Maintenance Fitter) qualification.
* Experience with machines, process equipment, controls, automation, and refrigeration systems.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Good communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Flexibility for shift work, overtime, and on-call duties.
* Full, clean driving license.
