My client is a high-profile lessor who has an opening for a Compliance Officer. This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing governance frameworks, and providing company secretarial support to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies across all operations.Design and maintain effective compliance policies, procedures, and risk management initiatives.Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on regulatory matters.Deliver engaging compliance training programs to all levels of the organization.Oversee compliance-related reporting and due diligence processes.Coordinate and document board, shareholder, and committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and related documentation.Develop and manage corporate governance policies, ensuring all records and filings are accurate and up-to-date.Support key transactions by managing necessary corporate documentation and filings.Qualifications: A degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.Professional certifications in compliance or governance.A minimum of 4 years' experience in a compliance or governance role, preferably within a regulated industry.Demonstrated ability to engage with senior leaders and manage complex processes.Benefits:
