We are actively recruiting experienced Guest Relations Manager for a busy 4* Hotel in Cork Your Role Under the general guidelines of the GM to manage the Guest experience journey in association with Front of house and Rooms Division teams To provide impeccable service to guests at all times, dealing with any issues arising in a timely manner To carry out duties in accordance with statutory, health and safety requirements Assist with Front Desk operations / guest queries and create magical moments Coordinate and monitor delivery of all special requests and specific requirements from guests Assist with the induction, training and supervision of all front of house Team Members Track and monitor weekly customer feedback and respond as appropriate Review Brand Customer Service feedback targets and implement corrective action if / as required Ensure guest satisfaction and standards are maintained by the Reception & FOH Team Motivate the Team Members towards achieving the Sales targets for Front Office To liaise with the Front Office and Revenue Managers in maximising Front Office sales To ensure the brand loyalty targets are achieved in conjunction with Sales and Rooms Manager The Person Have 2/3 years previous management experience in Guest Relations Management in a 4/5 star hotel Have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills Be a genuine, friendly, welcoming, gracious person Have an appropriate 3rd level qualification in Hospitality/Hospitality Management or a relevant discipline Have extensive experience with Opera Be very flexible, being prepared to help out the rest of the Team in a willing and positive manner Have excellent attention to detail, follow up and negotiating skills Have a pro-active approach to selling and creating memorable experiences Have excellent communication and IT skills with fluent spoken and written English Candidates require current legal status to work in Ireland without restrictions For full details please contact Richard Lynch at ...
