The Manual Turner job itself is based in Liverpool at a traditional machine shop that also innovates.
You will mainly be operating manual lathes in the workshop to produce parts related to breakdowns and refurbishments, manufacturing new parts using manual lathes with the specified material to high tolerances.
You will from time to time be required to visit sites around the Liverpool area to measure up and manufacture replacement parts, so you must have a driving license.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Friday 7.30am - 3pm.
The basic salary is £35,584 and there is regular overtime and other great benefits.
You will have
To be successful as a Manual Turner, you will be an experienced turner capable of operating manual lathes.
You must have good manual turning skills and be able to thread cut, tapers, bearing tolerances, and circlip grooves to achieve accurate replacement parts.
The role is mainly manual turning, but if you have any experience on other manual machines, that would be an advantage.
Also, some experience of mechanical fitting would be an advantage.

As a Manual Turner, you will get a salary of £38,584/annum Plus Regular Overtime.
