Director of Food & Beverage Job Description
Role Overview
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage outlets in a high-volume 4* hotel with multiple F&B outlets located in the heart of Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, setting and maintaining performance standards.
* Drive revenue generation by working with the Head Chef and Sales & Marketing teams to develop and execute strategic plans.
* Control costs across outlets, optimize labor costs, and ensure the efficient management of budgets.
* Foster a positive work culture, training and motivating a passionate team of Bar Managers, Kitchen, and Restaurant staff.
* Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, representatives, and customers to maximize sales potential and profit margins.
* Ensure top-notch guest care by addressing complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
* Stay ahead of trends, ensuring all offerings align with customer demand and market standards.
* Carry out stock management, including weekly stock-taking and cost control to meet agreed profit margins.
Requirements
To succeed as a Director of Food & Beverage, you will need to demonstrate:
