Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join our Northern Ireland division based in Belfast. As a Lift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our clients' elevators across their region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Servicing and maintaining customer lifts
* Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
* Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
* Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
* Maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
* Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the lifts compliant
* Out of hours work on a pro rata basis
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualifications
* Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
* Positive attitude and receptive to change
* Extremely organised
* Superior customer-care skills
* The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
* An advocate for H&S regulations in the workplace
