Your New Role
As a vital member of our finance team, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting the Finance Manager and team with various tasks including accounts receivable, management accounts, and reporting.
* Handling accounts receivable tasks such as sales reporting, overdue analysis, processing credits, and cash projections.
* Ensuring compliance with Group reporting, policies, and procedures.
* Calculating and journaling monthly accruals, prepayments, and estimated balances.
* Reviewing and journaling month-end stock records, valuations, and movements.
* Preparing weekly bank reconciliations and monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Assisting with the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns, ensuring VAT compliance.
Requirements
This role is ideally suited to individuals who are part-qualified under a recognised professional accountancy body and possess at least two years of recent experience in a similar role within industry or a professional accountancy firm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the completion of the trial balance and must demonstrate the ability to meet regular, tight reporting deadlines.
Applicants should also be strong team players, excellent communicators, and personable and approachable in their interactions.
