Role Overview:
Our client, a leading Tier 2 Main Contractor, is urgently seeking to hire an experienced Setting-out Engineer to work on a very significant Hotel & Apartment Scheme in Dublin City Centre. This is a Permanent and Fulltime Position.
Responsibilities:
1. Engage in Setting-out work.
2. Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate seamless project coordination and communication.
3. Assist with the implementation of quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project standards and specifications.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, addressing engineering challenges and facilitating innovative solutions.
5. Assist with the preparation and review of engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
6. Monitor project progress and performance against established milestones, budgets, and KPIs, proactively identifying and addressing deviations or obstacles.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on setting-out work.
3. Good domain knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
4. Solid proficiency in industry-standard software tools, including AutoCAD and project management software.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively problem-solve and make data-driven decisions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
7. Results-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
8. Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
9. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
