Job Responsibilities
* General Kitchen Porter role
* Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services in line with company's standards
* Clean BOH and FOH areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
* Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/ preparation and public areas.
* All cleaning duties within a Mess Area and associated blocks at the site.
* Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults orhazards identified during the course of the work.
* Perform daily paper work she/he is assigned
* Keeps diligent records as required
* Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
* Undertake relevant training as required
Key Requirements
* Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.
* Specific jobs may also require barista training
* BICs training for cleaning duties - Desirable but not essential.
* No previous experience required, but 1-2 years' experience in a food services ,retail or cleaning environment desirable.
