You will be responsible for proactively engaging customers within your territory. This includes repairs and scheduling preventive maintenance visits while supporting the growth of service revenue through contract sales and renewals. You will achieve service performance metrics in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market; this will include Net Promoter Score as the single metric of customer loyalty. As part of the Service & Repair team, you will drive to achieve Service & Repair revenue growth, identifying and following up on revenue opportunities with your customers. You will identify and address all key decision makers with respect to service & repair, including Clinical engineering and EBME department heads, building strong and lasting relationships with both the business and customers. Compliance with operational guidelines and QA procedures is essential.
THE PROFILE
* Degree or equivalent in electronic/electro-mechanical engineering
* Minimum 3 years of service experience within the medical equipment industry
* Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrate initiative, contributes to process improvement
* Customer focused, dedicated to building long term relationships and exceeding expectations
* Commercial astuteness to recognize and lead revenue growth opportunities
* Experience working in a hospital environment
* Experience in training others, including operational training of devices
* Experience in using maintenance tracking software for documentation purposes
