The opportunity
We are looking for high-performing, innovative, and enthusiastic climate change and sustainability specialists to join our growing team of sustainable business professionals who are building a better working world by helping global organizations identify, measure, deliver, and report on the most relevant sustainable business issues to create long-term value. Our Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice assists clients in building more sustainable and profitable enterprises by addressing environmental and social challenges.
Your key responsibilities
This role places you at the core of a dynamic, agile team committed to helping clients develop long-term sustainable businesses. You will work with leading organizations at a senior level to improve outcomes on critical climate risk issues, interacting with EY colleagues worldwide across sectors and business activities.

Skills and attributes for success
We seek individuals passionate about helping clients future-proof their businesses and enhance sustainability amidst social purpose, climate change, governance, innovation, and long-term value creation. You should have experience in understanding and responding to climate change impacts on operations and strategy, engaging with senior stakeholders on climate-related topics.
To qualify for the role you must have
* Extensive experience in helping clients understand, measure, and articulate how climate-related issues influence long-term value creation.
* Advisory experience on climate and environmental risks at operational and strategic levels.
* A deep understanding of the links between climate change, business risk, and value creation.
* Knowledge of business strategy, operations, and impact measurement/valuation in social and environmental contexts.
* Ability to quickly learn new concepts outside your core expertise.
* Strategic thinking combined with practical problem-solving skills.
* Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Ability to network within large organizations and build client relationships.
* Capability to contribute to business development and respond to tenders.
* Experience in mentoring and coaching team members.
Ideally you’ll also have
Preferred experiences include understanding ESG information review by investors and analysts, the role of Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion in sustainability, exposure to environmental accounting, regulatory reporting, and familiarity with finance, strategy, and communications functions supporting non-financial reporting.
