Our client is an International Multidisciplinary Consulting Engineering & Project Management Practice with offices in Dublin.
The Sustainability Division is seeking enthusiastic Sustainability Engineers with LEED AP and/or BREEAM, WELL, HPI, Life Cycle Analysis experience to join their Dublin team.
They are currently working on some of the most interesting projects throughout Ireland & UK, and the in-house Sustainability Engineers are qualified Assessors providing project services for the following: LEED, WELL, BREEAM, HPI, Fitwell, Code for Sustainable Homes, and BER Ratings, to name but a few.
In addition, they provide a range of sustainability services including but not limited to: Building Energy Modelling, Building Façade Analysis, Internal Thermal Comfort Analysis, Daylight, Overshadowing and Right to Light Analysis, Part L Compliance, and Low Energy Design Advice.
Duties:
1. Management of projects
2. Develop and manage client relationships (Internally and Externally)
3. Present evidence of completing the assessment process
4. Understand and apply the current and proposed Irish sustainability-related legislation to project solutions (Building regulations, Local Planning Policy)
5. Undertake LEED BD+C & ID+C Assessments across commercial schemes
6. Undertake BREEAM International Assessments across commercial schemes
7. Advise clients on all areas of sustainable design and provide solutions
8. Manage sustainability contributions from varying design stakeholders
9. Prepare thorough, high-quality, technical reports which clearly communicate any issues and conclusions
10. Take a high-level initial project/work brief which is successfully managed and converted into a completed project that meets the demands and criteria of the client and original specification
11. Identify areas which utilize a lead that converts to business opportunity and referrals through new and existing clients
12. Liaise with clients and project teams
Requirements:
1. 3+ years’ experience delivering projects under one of the following rating systems - LEED/ BREEAM/ WELL / HPI
2. Have certified assessor status of at least 1 of the following - LEED/ BREEAM/ WELL / HPI Qualification
3. Desirable but not necessary: a Masters qualification
4. Excellent report writing and communication skills
5. Proficient in Microsoft Packages
6. Self-motivated
7. Ability to work to tight deadlines
8. Working towards Chartered status
Package:
Salary €45K-€65K dependent on experience
