Procurement and Supply Chain Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement, developing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring quality, cost effectiveness, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Reduction and Process Improvement: Identify areas of inefficiency and implement changes to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
* Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply of high-quality materials.
* SUPPLIER AUDITS AND ASSESSMENTS: Collaborate with the Technical department to conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance with company standards.
* Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure favorable terms and conditions.
* Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and conditions to anticipate supply challenges and opportunities.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the operations team to forecast material requirements and align procurement plans.
* Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
* Procurement Budget Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
* Sustainability Alignment: Ensure procurement practices align with the company's sustainability goals and environmental policies.
* Inventory Management: Develop and maintain a raw material inventory management system.
* Timely Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to production sites to avoid disruptions.
Requirements:
* Degree: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Master's Degree: A Master's degree is preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Food manufacturing industry.
* Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Priorities: Commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
* Desirable Skills: Experience in people management and performance management.
