Overview

Established and growing organisation seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial operations, including corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control policy development. This role plays a critical part in managing financial risks and providing strategic financial insights for executive decision-making.


* Oversee accounting operations across multiple sites, covering Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
* Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
* Deliver timely, accurate monthly financial statements.
* Address technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting to maintain accuracy and transparency.
* Provide executive leadership with comprehensive financial data and analysis to guide strategic planning and policy development.
* Monitor budget trends, identify variances, and present findings to senior leadership.
* Develop, implement, and enhance internal control systems and accounting policies.
* Collaborate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and support.
* Manage tax preparation duties or coordinate with external tax advisors as needed.

* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar leadership role.
* Minimum 5 years combined experience in accounting and finance.
* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
* Expertise in preparing financial statements and managing the month-end/year-end close process.
* Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
* Outstanding communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
