Job Description
This opportunity sits within our Border Network Services organization where the team is responsible for designing the networks connecting Amazon data centers. Engineers in this organization define routing policy, design and implement Traffic Engineering solutions, as well as architect the hardware platforms and network design to support internal and external connectivity.
Responsibilities
* Designing and architecting networks that meet business requirements
* Defining routing policy and implementing Traffic Engineering solutions
* Architecting hardware platforms and network design
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in IP protocols
* In-depth knowledge of major internet routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP, and ISIS
* Experience with major router platforms, including Juniper MX, EX, and T-series platforms
* Strong Unix skills and ability to script in Perl, shell, C, or C++
