About the role:
The role will be based primarily in the Roe & Co Distillery Experience, involving connecting with guests at our Brand Home, dealing with members of the public, industry professionals, Diageo partners and stakeholders, both internal and external. As Experience supervisor they will also be required to run the shift and be a person of responsibility while on duty. This position will have a specialised focus on our Retail store and the successful candidate will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our Retail and admissions area including stock management, ordering, merchandising, loss prevention, guest admissions and new retail product development.
In their day-to-day role as Experience Team Leader they will work to actively turn guests into brand advocates by delivering unforgettable experiences. They will act as whiskey and cocktail educators for guests, delivering training and acting as whiskey consultants on various aspects of drinks and service. When Manager on Duty they will act as the person of responsibility and will be expected to be accountable for the smooth running of the business and ensuring the guest experience is delivered to the highest standard. They will also be required to perform shift opening and closing procedures and reconcile our revenue for the day in line with the cashing up procedures.
Purpose of Role
The role of a Roe & Co Experience Team Leader is to generate advocacy for the Brand and Brand Home, by delivering incredible guest experiences in a high-end service environment, through guiding guests through our distillery experiences, boutique retail offering and Food & Beverage programmes.
The role requires the highest standards of customer and professional service, while upholding standards of procedural practice in line with the quality management systems that drive excellence within Irish Brand Homes.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver consistent Brand Messaging and the “Roe & Co story” to our guests on all experiences within the distillery.
2. Manage the day-to-day operations of our retail and admissions area including stock management, ordering, merchandising, loss prevention, guest admissions and new retail product development.
3. Provide the highest levels of service to guests in our retail, tour and F&B areas, while working within the service systems set by senior management.
4. Accountable for stock control and cash handling in their day-to-day duties.
5. Maintain the wellbeing of themselves, other staff and guests while in the experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. High End Customer Service Experience is essential, with a preference for experience in retail environments.
2. Experience as a Manager on Duty or Shift Supervisor in a Hospitality service environment is preferred.
3. Working in a face-to-face customer service/tourism venue focused on customer experience is essential.
4. Good computer skills including experience using Powerpoint, Excel and customer supporting software systems.
5. Flexibility is key to our success. Must be flexible with work schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
