Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team at one of Ireland's top civil engineering companies.
Main Responsibilities:
* Review project plans and requirements, and produce a detailed baseline programme on Microsoft Project.
* Track programme progress and issue regular updates to clients.
* Identify critical path delays and negotiate extensions of time with the client when necessary.
* Monitor project pricing and track internal costs to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
* Communicate commercial issues and proposed solutions to the Contracts Manager.
* Understand contract terms and identify project variations where they occur.
* Negotiate additional costs with the client when required.
* Review and communicate contract documentation, including notices to clients within specified timeframes.
* Line manage Site Agents, Project Engineers, and QSs, and oversee all workers on site through the Site Agent.
* Approve monthly progress claims, Risk Assessment Method Statements, and other pre-construction Health and Safety documentation.
* Conduct regular Health and Safety and quality audits.
* Identify design issues and communicate them to clients along with proposed solutions.
