Guidant IRC is currently hiring on behalf of a client for the role of a Renal Clinic Manager based in Wexford.

Reporting to: Renal Business Lead
Permanent Position: 37.5 hour week
Role Summary:
To manage and lead the nursing & support teams in the care of patients with renal failure in our clinic, which supplements and supports existing renal services offered in the public health service clinically and professionally.
The Clinic Manager has responsibility for service planning, development, coordination, management of activity, and resources in the clinic to ensure delivery of agreed levels of service. The role includes local operational, quality, and vigilance management of the Wellstone Dialysis Unit in Wexford, with support from the Renal Business Lead. This encompasses efficient implementation and assessment of standards of patient care and needs, managing effective use of unit resources while balancing quality and cost efficiency.
Act in full accordance with the Hospital Information Quality Authority (HIQA) registered person requirements, and work within agreed local/corporate and national statute policies and procedures. Provide effective professional leadership to manage and develop the unit team in a constructive and professional manner while promoting the values of the company.

Skills & Experience Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with the INMB
* Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience with at least 3 years in renal care.
* Completed the P. Grad Dip. In Nursing Specialist Renal or be willing to undertake this upon commencement of role.
* Demonstrate financial knowledge in relation to healthcare and staffing resources.
