Job Overview:
The Hotel Events and Wedding Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating weddings and events at the hotel, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests. This role involves liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Meet with potential clients to understand their event or wedding requirements.
* Conduct site visits and promote hotel packages and services.
* Prepare proposals, contracts, and pricing based on client needs and budget.
* Follow up on leads and inquiries to secure bookings.
* Plan and coordinate weddings, meeting events, banquets, dining bookings and special occasions.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
* Work closely with the operations teams to ensure smooth execution of events.
* Arrange menu layouts, seating plans, and event timelines in collaboration with guests.
* Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and event details.
* Process payments, deposits, and invoicing in line with hotel policies.
* Provide a high level of personalized service to clients and guests.
* Address special requests, complaints, or last-minute changes professionally.
* Gather feedback post-event to improve future services.
* Attend wedding fairs, networking events, and industry exhibitions to generate leads.
* Work with the sales and marketing team to create promotional materials.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or wedding coordination desirable.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously.
* Creativity and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of current wedding and event trends desirable.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
