The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR with a focus on sourcing, attracting and nurturing talent and will work with the wider HR team to shape the organisations workforce through the development and deployment of effective talent management processes. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for developing and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract, engage, and hire top talent worldwide.
This leadership role requires a strategic, data-driven thinker with a deep understanding of global talent trends, employer branding, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working within a fast-paced environment coupled with knowledge and experience in workforce planning, executive search, and leveraging technology to optimize the hiring process.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Under the overall direction of the Human Resource Director, the Talent Acquisition Manger.
Strategic Recruitment Planning: O Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals.
O Forecast hiring needs based on business growth and workforce planning.
O Stay updated on industry trends and employment market conditions to adapt strategies accordingly.
Sourcing and Candidate Engagement O Utilize various sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to identify and attract top talent.
O Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
O Develop creative outreach strategies to engage passive candidates.
Employer Branding O Promote the company's employer brand to attract high-quality candidates.
O Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling job advertisements and recruitment campaigns.
O Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and university recruiting events.
Candidate Experience O Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
O Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates.
O Continuously improve the recruitment process based on candidate feedback.
Hiring Manager Collaboration O Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and team dynamics.
O Provide guidance on job descriptions, interview techniques, and selection criteria.
O Facilitate interview debriefs and decision-making processes.
Diversity and Inclusion O Develop and implement strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
O Ensure fair and unbiased recruitment practices.
O Track and report on diversity metrics.
Data-Driven Decision Making O Use recruitment metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
O Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.
O Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Compliance and Best Practices O Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
O Stay informed about best practices in talent acquisition and implement them within the organization.
Regulatory Compliance O Ensure Recruitment policies and practices are compliant regulatory requirements.
O Ensure Employee files and records are maintained and available for inspection purposes.
HR Systems O Assist in the evaluation of IT systems to support HR function.
O Oversee the implementation of IT systems to meet business and service needs.
O Evaluate and keep systems under review to ensure they meet changing needs.
About the ideal candidate The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: O A degree in Human Resource Management, or related business discipline.
O 4/5+ years' HR and talent acquisition experience in Healthcare O Experience or exposure to delivering talent development plans and initiatives O CIPD qualified is desirable but not essential.
O Digitally minded with a desire to continuously improve our service through innovation and thinking differently O Good project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise.
O An excellent relationship builder and communicator, with the ability to move between listening to, guiding and coaching others at all levels.
