We are looking for a Facilities Technician (Permanent role) to join our team in Stamullen, County Meath. This is a Monday to Friday position, 100% on-site.
As Facilities Technician, you will:
1. Ensure facility is prepared, presented and maintained to acceptable Pharmaceutical and general housekeeping standards;
2. Understand the operation of and be able to carry our relevant routine tasks to all items of facility improvement, repair & maintenance;
3. Play a key role in relation to the repairs, operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of facility equipment and buildings. Through general building repairs, preventive maintenance, continuous improvement projects, maintenance of spares and consumable stocks, interaction with operations teams and other key depts on site. Etc;
4. Act as a team with the facilities engineering team group, insofar as team members are encouraged and expected to work co-operatively with each other, helping each other, proactive repairs and upkeep of facility, as required. In addition, the facilities engineering operative is part of a wider engineering team and is expected to work with the team in order to achieve maintained working, general presentation of facility in addition to supporting production or site goals;
5. Be familiar with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Work Procedures for the repair and maintenance of relevant facility equipment;
6. Maintain a record of facility equipment, plant history and servicing;
7. Liase and support site Contract providers when required: Utilities / Security / Cleaning / Pest Control /Landscaping/ Fire Protection / Security Alarms / Camera’s / Access control / general maintenance;
8. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and GMP during maintenance work;
9. Maintain the workshops, plant rooms and facilities storage areas in an organised and tidy condition at all times and ensure the correct storage of tools and parts;
10. Adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements;
11. Participate in all training and assessment activities related to the position, e.g. GMP training, equipment technical training, Health & Safety requirements etc;
12. Do other duties as assigned by the Engineering Director / Facilities Manager or Facilities Engineer.
