As the head of the Business Development division within the Partnerships department and reporting to the Head of Partnerships, your role is key: structuring, supervising, and leading the Business Development team to accelerate the expansion of Picta's offering worldwide.
Your mission? Grow the team and maximize commercial impact by opening new strategic markets while ensuring excellence in business practices.
Your daily responsibilities revolve around four main pillars:
Define the vision and drive the team's strategyChampion the Business Development team's vision in alignment with Pictarine's global strategy.Contribute to the Partnerships department's roadmap and set ambitious goals to drive growth.Prioritize key initiatives and make strategic decisions to maximize impact.Monitor market trends and development opportunities both in France and internationally.Strengthen collaboration with other departments to ensure strategic alignment.Lead, motivate, and develop your teamCreate a stimulating and supportive work environment where everyone feels engaged and motivated.Align the team with the vision and objectives, adapting communication to business challenges.Define individual and collective goals and establish management routines to track progress.Support and challenge Business Developers to enhance their expertise and optimize their impact.Drive performance and ensure commercial excellenceTrack project performance with precise and actionable KPIs.Challenge roadmap execution and commercial strategies to accelerate growth.Optimize prospecting and acquisition of new partners while considering market specifics.Continuously improve the Sales playbook by integrating best commercial practices.Build and scale your teamDefine the structure and key skills required to support the division's expansion.Recruit top talent capable of effectively addressing new markets.Manage team development and administrative tasks, ensuring an efficient and scalable organization.About You Solid experience: You have 10 years of experience in a similar role, with strong international business development expertise.Native or bilingual English (spoken, read, written): You can lead complex negotiations and sell to international prospects, including native English speakers.Strategic and technical leadership: You know how to align vision and execution, negotiate and close deals with impact, while guiding your team toward excellence.Analytical and reporting skills: You can analyze performance, identify key success drivers, and ensure structured reporting within our CRM.Relationship-building and commercial mindset: You easily connect with people—whether through cold calls, meetings, or events—and can open business opportunities with major accounts.Project management excellence: You know how to prioritize, coordinate, and drive high-impact projects while involving relevant teams to maximize results.Clear and impactful communication: You can explain, simplify, and persuade, both in writing and speaking.
