Hotel General Manager – New Opening in Dublin City Centre
This is a unique opportunity to lead the setup and launch of a new 4-star hotel. As Hotel General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the pre-opening process and ongoing operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities
1. Lead the pre-opening process, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure readiness for launch
2. Set up departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
3. Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team capable of delivering world-class service
4. Establish operational procedures, service standards, and health and safety protocols
5. Work with the marketing team to create and execute a launch strategy
6. Manage employee rostering in order to control budgets and optimize expenses
7. Implement and maintain exceptionally high standards and consistency throughout the hotel
8. Continually provide ongoing training to employees in food and beverage offerings to ensure it is positioned as a market leader
9. Direct and supervise all employees to meet standards and objectives, whilst motivating employees, and ensuring excellent customer service and staff morale
10. Appropriately delegate duties and tasks to employees to maximise resources
11. Set and monitor quality and service standards, maximising revenue and profitability in line with budget expectations
12. Attend weekly management meetings
13. Ensure high levels of quality control, hygiene standards, and health & safety within your area of responsibility
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a senior hospitality management role (Min 3 years)
* A track record of successful opening and/or operational leadership in the hospitality industry
* Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving profitability
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Proficiency in hotel management software and industry best practices
* A passion for creating outstanding guest experiences
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
