Payroll & Scheduling Specialist (Part-Time | Remote | Exclusive Role with New Leaf Recruitment)

The Opportunity:
New Leaf Recruitment is proud to partner exclusively with our highly reputable client to recruit a Payroll Specialist who will take ownership of a key area within the business. You’ll work alongside a collaborative leadership team, with full training provided and plenty of support as you settle in. This is your chance to bring your payroll expertise to a growing company that’s genuinely making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage weekly/monthly payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency
* Monitor hours worked and ensure accurate scheduling of staff
* Identify and resolve variances or inconsistencies in pay and timesheets
* Liaise closely with the Finance Officer and Operations Manager on payroll and resource planning
* Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to ensure smooth operations
* Input, track and report on payroll data using internal systems (OneTouch Health experience advantageous)
* Flag and escalate issues such as missed hours, discrepancies, or potential audit concerns
* Provide scheduling support and adjustments as needed for a busy team of carers
* Prepare reports and assist with audit readiness when required
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in payroll, ideally within a healthcare, medical, or homecare setting
* Experience with staff scheduling and coordinating rotas is highly desirable
* A confident communicator who can spot issues, take initiative, and work independently
* Someone who enjoys responsibility and wants to take full ownership of their role
* Tech-savvy, ideally with OneTouch Health or similar systems (training provided)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information professionally
* Availability to attend occasional on-site meetings or training in North Dublin (1–2 times per quarter, if required)
